Adventurous stays at a unique location

Our camp is located on a summer farm that is more than a hundred years old, where farmers used to let their cattle graze in the summer before returning to their permanent farms in the winter. At Camp Berjes, you’ll feel transported back in time and experience what it’s like to be on such an old summer farm. The goats and sheep roam freely and are not shy about stopping by to say hello at your campsite.

Life on our farm is simple, and we want you to experience your stay that way too. You boil your own water for coffee, chop your own wood for your campfire, or heat your tent’s stove on colder days. You do the dishes in the communal outdoor kitchen using rainwater. If you want to wash with warm water, you first heat that water over your campfire or stove. You can also book one of our outdoor adventures if you want to explore our beautiful surroundings.
